2J Antennas is excited to introduce “The Medusa Series” 5-in-1 5GNR MIMO 2.4/5.0 GHz ISM and GPS/GNSS Screw Mount Antenna (2J7B86BGFa). This next-generation antenna integrates durability, high performance, efficiency and ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) into a low-cost and permanent solution for medical emergency, construction, agriculture and transportation industries.  The 2J7B86BFGa offers 5 high-performance antennas that support 5GNR, 4G LTE, FirstNet, CBRS, LPWA, CAT-X, CAT-Mx, CAT-NBx, NB-IoT, 3G, 2G, WiFi, BT, ZigBee, ISM, GPS and GLONASS standards making it the most reliable antenna on the market. 
 
Cable 1 and 2: 5GNR MIMO
Cables 1 and 2 are designed for 5GNR devices that operate within all 5G/4GLTE/3G/2G frequencies (617 – 5925 MHz). The 5GNR technology introduces millimeter-wave (mmWave) frequency for new generation LTE bands and is the ideal solution for MIMO technology. New generation LTE 4G applications demand high data speeds, therefore high efficiency and high gain MIMO antennas are required for necessary signal to noise ratio and throughput.
Cables 3 and 4: 2.4/5.0 GHz MIMO ISM
Cables 3 and 4 are dedicated to wireless-enabled device solutions operating within WiFi, ZigBee and ISM standards. Both cables are designed with omni-directional radiation pattern for maximum radiation efficiencies delivering unmatched performance making it the ideal solution for high-capacity network communications and HD video streaming.
Cables 5: GPS/GNSS
Cable 5 is designed for precision navigational applications that operate within GPS and GLONASS standards. Designed with a hemispherical radiation pattern and right-hand circular polarization allows cable 5 to radiate on all planes and maximize connectivity by avoiding conflict with propagating signals, penetrating obstructions, reducing dead spots, boosting throughput and improving resistance to signal degradation caused by inclement weather conditions. Cable 5 can maintain an active gain of 23 dB @ 3V and a noise figure parameter of 1.2 dB within the receiver system. The SAW post-filter blocks inadequate frequencies with an out of band rejection of ~32 dBc across the 1575 – 1602 MHz bands.

The 2J7B86BGFa is protected with a robust and heavy-duty housing made with high-quality acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) UV stable material, known for its thermal resistant properties, and a Zamak plastic antenna base as an alternative low-cost solution to the metal base options. This antenna is impact resistant, dust resistant and waterproof with full IP67, IP69 and IK09 certification making it ideal for external applications in harsh environmental conditions. Ground plane independence and reliable screw mount installation offer easy, permanent installations on a wide range of surfaces.
